Silver Niello
Is Niello (Silver + copper + lead + sulfur alloy) a conductor of electricity?
Any one know if this alloy (black in color) conducts electricity quite well?
Is there anyway i can make this alloy to not conduct electricity but remains the same in terms of look (aesthetic), as well as maintaining similar strenghts and hardness? For example composites or adding further elements to the alloying. No coating please.

It will conduct electricity , quite well . . cause silver and copper are quite good conductors and so is lead. as far as i know if you add any more element to it, then it becomes a new metal alloy and its properties will vary from niello. so niello is what it is , cannot be altered..
but by altering the proportion in which the elements are added could make difference.
