I want to age a piece of mohair fur fabric to make an antique style bear, i,ve tried sanding it and used a r?
wire brush but thats no good, I know about making small bare patches and dapped abit of tea on it but i was just wondering what else i could do.I be so greatful for any ideas and who comes up with the best one will receive a reward of me.

This may sound strange, but it works on deer skin. So would probably work on mohair also.
Make a mix of 3 parts apple cider vinegar to 1 part water.
Take a paint brush and brush the mix over the whole piece of fabric.
Lay it outside flat, in the sun; to dry.
You may have to do so, 2 or 3 times; so be patient.
Something between the acids in the vinegar and the sun make the skins age in a uniform color.

Rose cut diamonds were the stones of choice.

What style of chair would you pair with an antique oak gateleg table?
The table is dark oak and heavily carved with candlestick legs. I would like to consider an eclectic look.
